Background
- Born in Detroit, Michigan and moved to South Pasadena, California.
Attended Immaculate Heart College in Los Angeles and studied with Dorrance Stalvey. Graduated with a B.A. in music composition and psychology.
- Studied etching, lithography and monotype with Martin Weber, painting with Ben Sakagouchi and anatomy with Anita Mork.
Received grants in 1977 and 1978 from The Gulbenkian Foundation, The Foundation of France, les disques Phonogram, les disques Erato, les edition Salabert and Poldor International
- Studied at the Darius Milhaud Conservatory in Aix-en-Provence, France with Karlheinze Stockhausen and again in 1978 with Iannis Xenakis.
1980-Received a fellowship from The National Endowment for the Arts.
- 2009-Los Angeles Printmaking Society-member by invitation.
